Music Zone throws album release party for south Florida band

Miami, FL. – December 18, 2011- Music Zone is set produce an event for the south Florida band, Kill the Messenger, to release their latest album, “If Genghis Khan, Why Can’t I?”

The album release party, scheduled for December 30, 2011, is at the Poor House in Fort Lauderdale. Sean McNearney will host the party to celebrate the release of the album, “If Genghis Khan, Why Can’t I?” Music Zone executives are excited about this occasion and hope that this marks the start of many album release events. “This is a really exciting part of what we do and everyone at Music Zone is dedicated to making these types of events a permanent fixture on our calendars every year,” says Nicole Henry, director of business operations.

Admission is open to those 21 and over and there is no cover charge. Special quest performers include the bands Needless to Say, Kezia and Antigen. Music Zone gives back to music education with “High School Music Clash”

Miami, FL. – December 8, 2011- Music Zone supports music education in South Florida by creating a music talent competition and donating proceeds to participating high schools.

“High School Music Clash” is a new talent contest for high school students in West Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade Counties. High schools with participating students will receive portions for proceeds from the competition to help support their music education programs. “Music education is something that means a lot to me. I would not be who I am today if I did not have music classes in high school,” Prescott, president of Music Zone. “Some of the world’s future music stars are in high schools and we need to make sure there is education there to mentor them and allow their talents to grow.”

Music Zone presents “High School Music Clash” competition

Miami, FL. – December 8, 2011- Music Zone gives South Florida high school students a chance to show off their talents during a tri-county music competition starting in Miami-Dade County on January 20, 2012.

“High School Music Clash” is open to any rappers, singers or groups/bands that are currently in high school throughout West Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade Counties. Those students that graduated in the past year are also eligible to compete. This competition marks the first time Music Zone highlights high school talent. “This really is about giving these kids the chance to be heard,” said Prescott, president of Music Zone. “There is a ton of young talent in South Florida and this competition could be the springboard for many of them to live their dreams.” Along with other prizes, one rapper, singer and group/band will receive opportunity to record a demo.

Miami, FL. - October 17, 2011- Music Zone presents another Rockin’ night out at Poor House in Ft. Lauderdale with Florida rock bands Marvlec, Phantomime, A New Start and Here’s to Nathan.

Music Zone continues its Rockin’ night out series of rock shows on Thursday, Nov. 3. The company continues to give local rock bands the opportunities to build fan bases and get the experience they need to take their careers to the next step in the music industry.

Miami, FL. - October 7, 2011- Music Zone will put on a live show at Poor House in Ft. Lauderdale with Florida rock bands Daybreak Embrace, A Brilliant Lie and Dark Rift.

Fans of live rock music will have a place to “rock out” on Friday, Oct. 21 when Music Zone presents Rock Zone: A Rockin’ night out, a night of indie bands from Florida. This is the first of several Music Zone rock shows to take place over the next two months.
